Dr. Green has been awarded the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award by the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU), for his proposal titled “Coherent Elastic Neutrino-Nuclear Scattering at the SNS.” This award will support a graduate student in efforts to make the first unambiguous detection of this Standard Model neutrino interaction using the world’s premier stopped-pion neutrino source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
