Ethan Blalock’s proposal titled “The Effect of Alpha Particles on the Experimental Background of the Majorana Demonstrator Neutrino Experiment” was granted funding by NCSU’s Office of Undergraduate Research. Ethan has received $2000 to support his research in our group this summer, with the option to receive an addition $500 to support travel to present his findings at a conference this fall.
